Hertz - Am I the only one...

Who will never do business with Hertz again? These people charged my credit card $600 for a one day rental and getting assistance to get that cleared up is becoming EXTREMELY difficult. I have learned that its nothing but bunch of BS when Hertz rep tells you that they will investigate the matter only to send me an email stating bunch of hearsay. I kid you not when I tell you that I received an email stating "Well Mr.H agent A said this and Agent B said this yada yada". That is not how to conduct business with a long TERM customer. I have no choice but to hire a lawyer who could possible charge me double the charge I am disputing, but atleast I can go to sleep at night knowing that I am not being taken advantage of.

Why wouldn't you just file in small claims?

or why not just dispute the charge on your credit card if it's not legit?

I've stopped renting from Hertz until I get a satisfactory response to a few customer service issues I've had recently. Switched all my business to Avis, which matched my Presidents Circle status with their Presidents Club level.
