no - about 10 bookings - no miles. To be honest, I can't be bothered to follow them up most of the time.

Is there a recurring theme here?:

NCP Miles not posting
bmi shopping miles not posting
Hertz double promo miles not posting

I've probably missed a few and I'm not even going to list some of the other on-going problems.

It's a pain in the rear for us, so imagine how poor Joanna is having to deal with all of these crediting requests?

Dear Mods - do you think you can weave your wand of goodwill with bmi again for another Q&A via diamond club? I know this was a very well received exercise last year, so perhaps it would be timely again.

There seem to be a lot of on-going problems, plus some other concerns generally at the moment. I think collectively we all want to support bmi and help them to make Diamond Club (the program, not Joanna) as good a program as it possibly be and in turn support bmi via our wallets which is what it is about at the end of the day. A chance for a little bit of electronic engagement with a few of those in the know at bmi might be productive all-round given the chance.

Any thoughts from others?

RAPC, I support your request for another Q&A with DC.

A number of issues that we brought up last time, such as award ticketing for example, really haven't been addressed satisfactorily and problems still persist or are perceived to be getting worse.

The website debacle and ongoing issues with miles not crediting properly need to be addressed and not just left to carry on unchecked. How difficult is it for god's sake?!

It would be nice to think that DC and bmi are listening and actually doing something about our concerns.

NCP has never posted automatically for me.

I'm a regular user of NCP and have exchanged nearly as many e-mails with DC requesting credit as Beaubo has had conversations with the ICC.

It is a matter of concern that promo after partnership after offer after promo are put up on the website seemingly without the tested and robust backroom processes to support them.

All the times I have used NCP and I am a regular user, the miles have never credited automatically. I have always had to get manual intervetion from DC to get the miles credited. I would use alternative car-parks, but I value the points more.

I've occasionally had them credit automatically, albeit sometimes for the wrong amount so I still have to chase up with DC. It's not a massive amount of miles but I chase them on the basis that maybe if they get lots of manual requests they'll get tired of doing the corrections and sort it out. (Some hope I know!)

I have found NCP miles to be the BEST for posting. Without fail they have usually appeared within 3 or 4 days. Pity I can't say the same about on-line shopping and missing hotel miles!

Nope! Always have to chase them. I have almost given up using them, I currently have two outstanding for a couple of weeks now.

You can add to the list any Hertz miles (even non promo) from Australia
And it seems about half the time hotelopia (remains to be seen if expedia is any better!)

Not to worry. I have NCP miles credited up to a year old. Joanna is a star!

No. The NCP booking engine on the bmi site only accepts Aberdeen, Birmingham, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds/Bradford, Heathrow, Durham Tees and Manchester.

Not directly anyway.
You should be able to earn some BAA Worldpoints however (1 point per £), then once you have 500 of those, you can transfer them to bmi DC for 750 miles. So not as good as 10 DC miles per pound but at least something.

You also have the added bonus that BAA Worldpoints post to your BAA Worldpoints account automatically as well.

It seems, from my experience, that they do not post automaticaly. They have to be chased via diamond club every single time. I am beginning to wonder if it is worth the effort.

I can't even get the link from the BMI website to work! Don't know why this even surprises me...

Am I using the correct site? www.bmiparking.com? That's where I'm being redirected.

I've never had any problem with this site (well, apart from the miles never posting) and its working OK for me at the moment.

You're right - seems to be working now. Must have been some gremlins earlier this morning...

Edit: Well, I've managed to get onto the site and frankly it's a bit rubbish. The only car park they offer for booking in Glasgow is the Flightpath car park - it's cheap but it's the long stay one, as far as I remember. No option for fast track or even regular short stay / Car Park 2. Oh well, so much for racking up more BMI miles that way...

This link from the bmi homepage to 'parking' is down again today....

Just made a booking on the bmi site for LHR and noticed an 'enhancement' : normally it offers just the regular LHR park @ £7 per day, but today it offered a whole load of extras :

NCP Flightpath Heathrow £21.00
Valet Parking Heathrow Terminal 1 £67.60
Valet Parking Heathrow Terminal 2 £67.60
Valet Parking Heathrow Terminal 3 £67.60
Valet Parking Heathrow Terminal 4 £67.60
Valet Parking Terminal 1 with Car Care £95.60
Valet Parking Terminal 2 with Car Care £95.60
Valet Parking Terminal 3 with Car Care £95.60
Valet Parking Terminal 4 with Car Care £95.60

(prices for a 3 day park)

so if you are a user of the valet parking services, there's a decent amount of BD miles (at 10 per £) on offer here.

Good grief. Reason for my surprise is that I park in Park 1 at £27 ish a day for 3 days, nearly a ton a week, the enhanced valet parking is two thirds of that! And 10 miles per quid, as opposed to the worldpoints and conversion!

Many thanks for that post Oxon Flyer

Park 1 at £27 ish a day for 3 days,

Hint from veteran Park 1 User : for stays 2 days and over, it is much cheaper if you book it at least one day in advance on the BAA website.
