American Express Membership Rewards - What is a plat member suppose to get w new card

I have only been a platinum cardholder for a few months: what am i suppose to expect to receive in terms of catalogs other than the initial welcome "booklet".

I had to request the FHR catalog by calling cust service....... I know that it could be due to timing on when amex decides to send stuff out.

You'll receive a magazine every so often with ads for very expensive items.....items you can use your new Amex to purchase.

Varies between the countries. I was recently a little bit disappointed as they have cut that benefit off from IEC Platinum cards (that is what they said to me).

Departures Magazine will come quarterly or so.

FHR comes in the beginning of each year as well as the benefits booklet.

In NZ your new card just comes in an envelope, no info pack or booklet. Every quarter you get the Australian Platinum Magazine with a NZ supplement and every couple of months there's a travel magazine. Luggage tags would be nice though!

You get the Membership Rewards FIRST guide and a guide to hotels..Last year they sent a small book (looked like a childrens book) that turned out to be an advertisement for The Card..you should also recieve relentless mailings about adding another person to your account for $175..@:-)
