Hilton HHonors - Prepaid reservatioins from HHonors show as priceline at check-in?

I've booked a number of pre-paid rates from the Hilton HHonors site. Everytime I check-in on one of these, I see it written as a "Priceline" booking.

I know that they pre-assign rooms by status and often by rates too, so am I risking a lower quality room assignment because they think I'm staying on Priceline.

I have had no troubles with stay credit or points, as these are HHonors bookings. But wondered if anyone else noticed this.

I've never had that happen. I don't book non refundables , unless I'm doing a mattress run and know i'll be in a city, but have always been given the diamond treatment.

When you say they are "Every time I check-in on one of these, I see it written as a "Priceline" booking." I'm unclear as to what that means? Are you saying the hotel employee or the hotels internal systems are printing out something saying you're on a priceline rate?

When this happens do you have a Hilton (brand) hard copy of you confirmation/rate to show staff that you booked an eligible rate?

I always get great Diamond treatment too. The places I stay, I frequent and have no qualms on the reception given. I receive points/stays/breakfast, etc.

But, the signature card/internal correspondence that the front desk sees ALWAYS says "PRICELINE" stay. Specifically, Singapore, Phuket, Bangkok.

I've only done prepaid a few times (doesn't really make any sense can usually get it without the restrictions for less, just reserved a room for Sunday:

AAA RATE AAA AUTOMOBILE CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARD REQUIRED (more)

111.20 USD 1 KING BED-NONSMOKING
111.20 USD 1 QUEEN BED-NONSMOKING
111.20 USD 2 DOUBLE BEDS-NONSMOKING

NET DIRECT RATES FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED AT TIME OF RESERVATION. CREDIT CARD (more)

125.10 USD 1 KING BED-NONSMOKING
125.10 USD 1 QUEEN BED-NONSMOKING
125.10 USD 2 DOUBLE BEDS-NONSMOKING

but it's never said priceline, at least not at checking in. Always gotten stay and points for it too.

I think as long as your reservation has your status in it you should be OK, probably somebody just got the prepaid and priceline stays mixed up thinking they were the same.
