I have been eager for this property to open so that I can stay there on my business trips to Hanscom Air Force Base. However, as a government employee on a per diem, I can't see paying $38 per night plus taxes out of my own pocket to stay there. It is disappointing that this property will join the group of Starwood hotels that charge more than the Government per diem for the county that they are located in.

Also, their web page now says "Now accepting reservations for arrival on or after September 1, 2008."

Wow - $38 per night seems like a pretty good deal!

A one night reservation for 9/1 or 11/1 shows a BAR of $129. I hope that's more accurate in practice than $309!

I think he means that the hotel's government rate is $149: the $111 (http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contentView.do?queryYear=2008&contentType=GSA_BASIC&contentId=17943&queryState=Massachusetts&noc=T) the government is willing to pay for a night's lodging in the area, plus another $38.

By the way, spg.com is now taking bookings for that aloft from September 1.
