Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Paper ticket from Maldives for SQ?
I must admit it's been years since I last used a paper ticket. So imagine my surprise when the airline told me it has to be paper ticket to fly out of Male, Maldives on SQ. I had a one way ticket into Maldives which is electronic but when I book my flight out of Male, they insist on issuing paper tickets, at no extra charge however, but it just strikes me as odd...especially for SQ.
Anyone still flies on a paper ticket with SQ these days?

Yes. And I really prefer paper tickets especially for endorsements and such. No hassle. But with a electronic ticket, simple changes can't be done. Especially for 'error' tickets !;)

I have flown 4 times out of Male on SQ and they were all booked on SQ.com and etickets.
The other time i flew out of MLE , i did have a paper ticket, but that was on MH.

My RTWs are always paper tickets. Although last year I got a surprise to get a handwritten paper ticket (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=738003).
I guess it has something to do with the staff handling for SQ in MLE since this booking supposedly originated in MLE as though the ticket was sold there because our outbound into MLE is electronic.
