JetBlue TrueBlue - SFO Questions

I'll be flying B6 out of SFO on the red-eye to JFK in the near future, and have not travelled out of SFO's international terminal with B6 before.

Is the international terminal/security area typically busy at 9pm? I know that during the 10am-4pm timeframe it can be busy with Asia and Europe flights, but have not been there in the late evening? Any feedback from other flyertalkers?

Also, when returning to SFO from JFK and landing at SFO's int'l terminal, how do passengers avoid going thru customs and immigration, and where do they collect baggage? Since baggage claim is after immigration in the "secure" area, I am not sure how it works?

Any information would br greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Oz flights leave late, but that shouldn't slow you down too much at security. And there is a "domestic" baggage claim area as well for flights that don't need to clear customs.

We got in early on our SLC-SFO-BOS turn. I wandered through the A side of the terminal and it was pretty empty. I think the only flights that may have been departing where AF and BA, maybe VS but the rest of the Asian carriers where parked for the evening.
