After LH changed from Visa to MC I needed a Visa. By accident I had a look at the German Hilton Visa which appears to be useful tool:
Free for one year
5000 Bonus points
10% Discount in German Hilton restaurants
Two points for the Euro, three points at Hilton familiy hotels.
For 25 extra Euro you get
Free Travel insurance
Free CDW
Certainly, it is not as good as a US SPG Amex card. However, I will keep it for a year and will see whether it makes sense to pay 48 Euro for the card and 25 Euro for the insurance. However, I have a strong feeling that I will only keep it for that year and sign up again ;)
