View Full Version : Where to send Letter??

Long time viewer, first time poster.

I have finally had it with my local HLE location. Every time I go in for a rental, they conviently forget to add the discount coupon.

Usually spend about 30 minutes as they try and apply some other coupon to get the rate close. Doesn't matter if I have my confirmation or not, they always screw it up and tell me I applied an invalid coupon.

Sometimes I do not have time to sit and wait, or drop off the rental after hours. I would say in the past year I have overpaid by about $200 due to amounts being higher than they should be.

Who should I send my complaint letter to in order to get the best chance of a response??

EVERY time I send my complaints via the Hertz website. They always have reversed every mis-done charge, and occasionally have given me dollar amount coupons if I complain about the service enough.

It actually works for me. To the point I ignore whatever my local Hertz location gives me for a receipt, which is usually wrong. Instead of arguing with them, I shrug, and go home. I then fill out a form online at hertz.com, getting an email back in 3 to 5 days apologizing for the error, and noting the over charge will be reversed. (or wrongly charge fuel charge will be reversed, or the coupon will be correctly applied and I will be credited, or missing FF credit will be applied, &c.)

The reverses are found on my CC within a week.

I suggest you look at their website, it is there.

still need some help with a mailing address.

Nothing is listed on Hertz website on where to write, and cannot use online inquiry as I have over 20 billings that need to be addressed.

Where have others sent their letters?

Might take you a couple minutes digging, but it is on their website (not about to do all your research for you). Suggest you do a search via Google on the site, with Oklahoma City in the search query (as that is where the home office is)

Another suggestion is to phone them and ask for a mailing address.

I wonder if they treat you better or worst after you complainted. Why do I think it is very likely no one at Hertz cares or everyone at that location will hate you with a passion?
