Hilton HHonors - 4 NT AXON somewhere warm - help us decide!

We have 2 small children and need a vacation! We want to go somewhere warm/tropical, but can only really get away for 4 nights. We were initially looking at the British in the Bahamas, but the reviews are not so great. Now we are leaning towards Cancun, but it will take longer to get there (we live near DC). Any other suggestions?

I like the Hilton Barbados but that may be further than Cancun.

You might try Florida. Fly into Tampa or Clearwater/St Pete to get to Clearwater Beach or fly into Miami or Key West to get to Islamorada.

Nice Hiltons in the Tampa Bay area and a nice Hampton Inn and Suites in Islamorada.

How about the Hilton resorts in Phoenix/Scottsdale?

Know that you won't be swimming in the ocean at the Hilton Cancun. The surf is crazy big, but beautiful. The pool is great. If you want calm surf the Hilton Clearwater would be nice. We're headed there in one month. :D Newly remodeled. Also you're a short distance from Busch Gardens a great day trip if interested.
