Or, do you have to share with the person next to you? I ask this as I've done some digging on the internet and found conflicting information. Grateful if someone could clear this up.

On board the New Economy Class on Singapore Airlines' Airbus A380, you will experience Comfort - In A New Light.

There are ACpower ports for every two in three New Economy Class seats. Hope this helps?

Thanks for your reply. I'm still confused about this, as I was on the phone today with an SIA agent to discuss a flight change and took the opportunity to ask him to confirm whether there was a power supply in each individual seat or whether it was shared with the adjacent passenger. He put me on hold for a short while and came back to say each seat has a power supply. I clearly explained what I meant so there was no room for ambiguity...

Singapore_Air explained it very clearly.

The AC power ports are in the armrests between seats.

Most phone agents have never been on a A380 and are clueless about the details. The fact that he put you on hold should have been a clue (on his cluelessness). :D

Wait, so there are AC power ports for EACH seat in economy, or not? I, for one, am still not clear.

I'm flying on the new A380 from LHR to SIN in a few weeks, economy, and really need to get some work done on my laptop during the flight. I now envision a scenario where I'm fighting some kid next to me for use of the outlet. I did just pick up an EmPower + 20mm DC port adaptor today, as well. Hedging my bets, I suppose.

From what I understand (I have not been onto the A380) is that everyone has an accessible power port but it is in the middle arm rests, meaning a row of 3 seats would have 2 power ports. SQ does not use EmPower, just normal plugs as shown in the link above.

Do you know how powerful a device you can run off them?

Would I be able to run a CPAP off one without blowing the circuit breaker? Just wondering if I would be able to sleep or do I have to do my normal of doing anything I can to stay awake and spare the rest of the pax around me my snoring? Anyone else with obstructive sleep apnea able to advise?

here's an idea:
Buy a middle seat in the middle section of 3 seats. Then you should have access to both armrests with power!

There are 1 power outlet in the 2 seater, 2 outlets in the 3 seater and 3 outlets in the 4 seater.

If you don't want to "fight" with your neighbour over the outlet, try getting the bulkhead seats cos every seat has its own power outlet. Every outlet can supply up to 75W, any power drawn higher than that will trip the outlet.

Um, either I was blind, but could not find the power outlet at my seat on the Upper-deck aft emergency row (Row 81?).

For EMEX and bulkhead rows, the power outlet is under each seat, not at the armrest.
