Can anyone help we are arriving from London on VS at around 14:30 in a few months and are looking at connecting onto the Jetblue MCO flight. Looking at the IAD website is very confusing. How much time do we need to leave to get to the Jetblue gates?

Also how do we get from the international arrivals is it walkable or do we need to get a mobile lounge?

Also are there any priority pass lounges close to their gates?

Many thanks.

No, there is no lounge for B6 or VS. If you wants go there from terminal building. You need to gets cleared customs & immigrations at main terminal. Before you will go to B6 ticket counter upstairs to checkable your bags. Before you will go to security checkpoint. Because IAD is very extremely busy during peak hour times. Hopefully if you will helpful more specific information while you are arrived from LHR by VS.

The B6 gates are in Terminal B, so you can walk to it after you clear security; no need to take the buggy. You will clear the regular arrivals immigration/customs and then you'll have to head to the B6 check-in area. After that you get to do security and then head to the gate.

I'm not sure which lounges PPass has at IAD or where they are located, so I can't help you there.

With the new gates at IAD it will be quicker to take the buggy from the security line to the gates rather than walk. The walk is not a 10minute walk compared to a 2 minute buggy ride. I've done both and will wait for the buggy from now on. The old walk was a lot easier when we where at our old gates as that was a 5 minute walk underground.

I forgot that the gates just moved and was basing it on the IAD terminal map from their web page. Whoopsie!

Thanks for your help, we're due in around 14:30 on a Friday and are looking at the 18:30 flight to MCO. We should be one of the first off the VS flight as we're in upper just by where they exit so we should have a smooth transit.

4 hours should be plenty of time to clear customs, rechecking with the JetBlue agents and make your way to our gates! It would have been horrible had we been at the old gates as you would have arrived right next door to your departure gate for MCO. Since we moved it will make it a little easier ^ Enjoy your trip on VS and B6!

Thanks for everyone's help, I checked today and suddenly the fares came online for Oct and I bagged $69 each for the five of us which for the UK is an absolute bargain. Also was surprised for such a cheap fare you could select your seats, most cheap fares even with the large carriers don't allow you to select your seat until t-24.

We're on a ERJ by the looks of it so have bagged rows 13 and 14, rest of a/c still open so can change them but looking at seat guru these look quite good, anyone any view if I'm wrong.

The afternoon IAD-MCO flight is usually on the E190. Row 12 is the exit row so you will be just behind the exit over the wings, good seats if you ask me.
