US Airways Dividend Miles - VBD Compensation

Couldn't find relevant information after a bunch of searches. On US, what have been your experiences VBDing on oversold flights? Specifically on international itineraries, what did you receive? I have a MCI-CLT-PHL-MAD trip booked coming up and it looks like the MCI-CLT leg is just about sold out, and I just wanted to know my options if I VBDed and waited for the MCI-PHL flight which looks wide open. Since you're talking about the MCI-CLT leg, the typical offer is a voucher for a free domestic flight (with limited inventory - see other threads) or $200 off of a flight. I would be stunned if they offered anything additional simply because you're then continuing on to MAD, since they could just offer the voucher to anybody else going from MCI to CLT and keep you on the plane.
