Hertz - Options for Expiring ZE1 Free Day Awards

I have a total of 3 earned 2 Day free rental coupons that expire in mid March.

Expected to use these a couple of weeks ago but had a change in travel plans.

My question is has anyone in the past had success in calling or emailing Hertz #1 Club customer service to have the rewards either reissued as paper awards with a later expiration date OR (very unlikely I know) had customer service reissue the appropriate points into your #1 Awards account for the points?

If so who did you email or call?

I got burned real bad about 3 years ago on Coupon Connection (Was Coupon Connection finally axed on Flyertalk...cant find the thread) so trading them is not an option...

Okay,

Since no one could help me out on this I found the answer on my own and am nice enough to share for others who need to know. (That used to be the spirit of FT...hope that has not changed:)

I was able to contact #1 Awards customer service in Oklahoma City and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Hertz official policy is that they will reissue EARNED (earned certificates issued in the requesters name only) #1 Awards certificates if the expired certificates are forwarded to Customer Relations within 3 months of their expiration date.

Customer Relations will then reissue a paper award certificate with an expiration date 1 year out from the reissue date.

Please send a note with your expired certifcate to:

Hertz Customer Relations
PO Box 26120
Oklahoma City, OK 73126

Be sure to indicate your #1 Club number and return address in the note so that Customer Service can properly reissue the replacement for your account.
