Emirates Airlines Skywards - Booking Biz with internet site's etc Expedia

Thinking of booking me next biz to BKK with one of the many travel site's that you can now find on the net. such as Expedia, Travelocityo,Opodo etc.

Question is .... as they usually offer a cheaper biz price than on EK's own website do you still get the full works etc as booking through EK's own website........ such as do you still get the chauffer service ..... tier miles etc.

If i did book through one of the above sites .... to select my seat would it still be a case of calling Skywards to select my seat after the reservation has been made.

Also are you able to upgrade from say biz-first by using your miles through skywards ..... but making the orginal booking through one of the above travel companys.

Yes. The one exception is that some ex UK packages may have conditions with regards to chauffeur drive.

If it's in biz, you can just use your confirmation # and select online from the EK website.

Also, if the prices don't differ hugely, consider using EK's website. Online bookings in all classes are eligible for additional bonus miles (30%, 70% and 150% respectively for coach, J and F).

candadep .............. there seems to be a price difference in the region of £200 on the internet travel sites than on EK's own site .... making EK's prices quotes on there site dearer..... In the past I have always gone and booked on EK's own site ...... but tempted to try and save £200 on the ticket price.
