Hertz - Keep an eye on the mail - PC kit arrived today!

Keep an eye on the mail - my President's Circle card just arrived today - got the standard welcome letter with a nice shiny new card (first time PC Member). I like how it's got raised letters (like a credit card) instead of the smooth lettering like the other cards! :)

My last name starts with a B & I'm located in Virginia if anyone's wondering (I know NW sends its elite credentials out based on last name & locations apparently).

Yes, I also got mine on Friday. I was actually disappointed in the card--my 5* card had embossed lettering that was also colored black so you could see it. This one is embossed but the letters just blend in with the card.

I was also surprised there's no expiration date on the card, and I certainly hope the cover letter that said my status (just earned for the first time) was valid through April 2008 was a typo.

Cards received last year had no expiration date either, and the letter didn't even mention an expiration date (if I remember correctly). I have way few rentals to be President's Circle, but so far my online profile and my rental receipts still keep showing it... dunno when it'll go away, if it does!

Even though my Hertz President's Circle card had no expiration date, it does look like my status expired in April 2008 as I checked today and I am now 5* (which I do think I earned, so I'm not sure if they do 'soft landings'). Lucky for me I got National to match my President's Circle, and all my future Hertz rentals have been rebooked on National. One less PC competing for your upgrades to a Cobalt with crank windows :)
