I am sorry for possible bringing up a topic that has been regurgitated more than once...
My apologies also for not at all being familiar with Skyteam.
I got a interesting ticket out of BKK that requires me to use AZ flight no for a return from Europe = MXP to NY - choice of EWR or JFK.
What is recommeded in terms of seating - including sleeping on the return - sticking with AZ or try to book a codeshare on DL metal.
In flight offering as a second decider
Are there any advantages over JFK vs EWR
Anything else to consider ?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

I have never flown on AZ, but their business class seat on either the 777 or the 767 is the same 60 inch pitch as DL's, but considerably wider at 21 inches. The DL BE seat on its 767s are rather narrow at 18.5 inches, for DL puts 6 seats across in their 767s while AZ only puts 5 seats across.

Thanks Robert - so if I read it correctly - also the sticky on top in this forum - I should look for flights stating the 764 and avoid any other i.e. 767 or 772 ? - plan is to fly out on March 6 and return on March 8 - thanks for any advice.

I'd actually would take the 772; Front cabin is very quiet. IIRC the 772 only serves JFK though. It depends on where you have to go in the city, but I tend to prefer JFK to EWR. If you read the sticky, you can find out if all 764 have been refitted with the "new" C seat (like SQ old spacebed). The non refitted 767 are horrible!

Does the 772 also offer Lie Flat Seating ? I am indifferent as to which NY airport as I am likely to need to conncet further west - MSP.
Thanks

This is the old C on the 767, couldn't find pics of the new one as the link in the sticky doesn't work anymore.

Hello, I updated the sticky with the new links.
There are pics of the new seat and my trip report.
I really liked the seat and find it very comfortable,
I can't really say much about the 777 because I haven't had a chance to try the biz product.
If you have any questions let me know.

So in the end I get to try both - will gon MXP - JFK on a 777 March 6 and return from EWR on a 764 on March 9.
Thanks again for your input
