Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Fox at LAX?

Has anyone used them? I am flying into LAX on a Wednesday morning and need a car for a few hours.

Fox is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than any of the other rental locations, but I'm a bit weary as this could be too good to be true. Any experiences to share regarding check-in/return and the quality of service and vehicles?

I felt the same way when I rented from them.

FOX shared the Dollar bus to get to the lot which is about a 10 minute ride from the airport.

The lobby was minimal and the line was a little longer than I would have liked. However, I had reserved a Compact car for $10 a day so I couldn't complain.

The best part...I was given a brand new PT Cruiser. When I say brand new, it had 7 miles on it. They had just gotten in the car the day before.

i interviewed with a LA based company and on my visit i was given a rental car from here. It was cheap, and there are no frequent flier miles. i arrived after 11 pm so the line was kinda lomg, but the return was quick.

i was happy with what i got and paid for, a PT cruiser also.
i'd rent there again if the rates were low enough.

- enroll in "Fox Rewards" (to earn points),
- check current coupons for LAX offers, if any available for your trip
- and make reservation for Wed. directly on their website
(where the rates are same or better vs. other travel booking places)

Thanks. I got a rate for $9/day ($21 after taxes+fees). Beats the heck out of the $60+ rates I was getting at other places for a compact.

I have a backup reservation at Dollar just incase, but it doesn't seem like I'll need it.

I have reserved a car for pickup at SNA and dropoff at LAX. Are there any close/cheap gas stations near LAX that are also near Fox?

How much time did you need from drop off to get to the terminal?

Is anyone here under 25? I am 24.5 and was hoping they'd let me slide on the under 25 surcharge
