OK, so my good friend sent me a text just now saying that jetBlue was featured in the new iPhone commercial. Quick search on YouTube and found the ad, sure enough showing jetblue.com:

This tidbit came out to crewmembers a few days ago. According to marketing, Apple approached JetBlue about using the site in their ad -- JetBlue paid nothing.

I saw the ad while watching Family Guy on TBS last night. Almost had to do a double take when I saw it.

As I type on my iBook, with my iPod on the shelf, and having just printed my B6 boarding pass for tomorrow's flight, I must say that Apple doesn't do much of anything "random". My guess is that, if the other rumor mentioned about Apple approaching B6 and featuring the website free, Apple realizes that they share a similar corporate culture that puts people first, treats their employees right, and are seen as something of an "also ran" by those who haven't experienced their service/product first hand. However, like me, there may be a degree of cross-over appeal between jetBlue customers and Apple customers.
