Goodbye Diamond Desk Glasgow :(
I regret very much that you had to go away :(
I am NOT looking forward at all to deal with the US desk

PS: Hilton, it was not a smart move to remove the most customer oriented desk. I do not appreciate this!

The Diamond Desk disappeared from Glasgow quite a long time ago, i suspect they have only now closed the old mailbox, which was presumably redirected.

This is what most people think but it is not what really was the case. I agree, you could not have phone contact with the Glasgow Diamond staff for quite a while. Nevertheless, the email staff was still located in Glasgow until recently.

I had a case solved about one month ago from the Glasgow Diamond Desk. They obviously started recently to give up the desk.

Yep, I miss the Glasgow team, too. I would rate this conversion as one of HHonors' biggest mistakes in the last 5 years.

But if you don't have phone contact with them how difficult is it to contact the US based diamond desk? I never had particularly great experiences with Glasgow and since switching most of my stays to Starwood 18 months ago, I am wondering if it is worth bothering renewing Diamond this year (especially since it seems I will no longer requalify until 2010).

The dumbs from the US desk are completely useless in my opinion.

The losers over there don't solve any problem and sometimes I even have the impression that they are iliterates. Grrrr...

Right now, have one pending case open: Found a BRG. Got a refusal from Antxxx Frosxxx in the US. Sent a complain (by email and fax) but nobody over there cares about it. When I call there they "can nothing do for me". Only one experience out of many. Could tell you stories about the US desk. The Glasgow desk, on the other hand, went into my cases and solved them.

Again: Thank you Glasgow people for your good job ^ And shame on your US diamond desk staff :td:

Hilton do have some customer relations people in London. I don't have a phone number, but the Glasgow HHonors people can give it to you. While I would hardly call them "terrier like", they were at least helpful and they did resolve my problem.
