Hertz - Sydney Downtown Question

My company has switched from Budget to Hertz as of this year. So I duly signed up No.1 Gold Service, and all seems good, although its taken two rentals before my Gold Service has kicked in (had to speak to CS) but now my future rentals have it confirmed.

So all good, but do they bring the cars up from the car park for Gold Service? The time saved at the counter will seem to be lost with the hassle of going into the bowels of a multi-story car park to retrieve the vehicle. And plus its hard to do a damage check as its so dark in there.

Budget also store their cars in a car park but bring them to the street for everyone.

Nope, not in my experience. I think the last time I rented there I was a 5* as well, same treatment.

I know that as a PC member they have the car in the returns lot so if you rent 30 times this year then you will avoid the trip to the basement next year

Should make 5* easily would imagine, PC not sure will have to see how the year pans out.

Good to see at one level they do do this though, would be a good benefit IMO.
