I love Jetblue but I never have a chance to fly it because it doesn't service my area. Does anyone know if/when Jetblue planes routes from CVG or DAY... fingers crossed.

More importantly, when will they serve Grand Rapids or Detroit?

CVG could be a natural if DL merges with NW and closes their CVG hub in favor of DTW.

I'm guessing that they will serve thes (and other) cities when they have planes and routing options available to them that they see as potentially profitable.

They've pulled a few routes recently (BNA, a couple of the PR options) because they were not making money, and I would expect that they would look to see if the other routes that they could start will be more profitable than alternatives prior to launch. Just a hunch :p

Yes, B6 has been pull out from CMH while ago but, they won't let have anymore expandable new routes to Ohio this time. Because it wasn't doing performing very well. I think B6 will considered to another more seek new routes. Probably you will see DAY, CAK, CVG or CLE and YNG is coming soon. Just keeping your fingered crossing for which specific routes will be taken.

No, CVG hubs will have to be remain opened for long time. DL has no major changeable at CVG hubs for this time. Because they won't let shutdown at CVG hubs due to merges with NW. I don't think so either. Because DL will continuation to operating at CVG for a long time.

CVG is in Kentucky, not Ohio. I think CVG is a good airport for B6 to enter, high fare, hub captive, and a short market from JFK. I think starting out 3X JFK, 2X BOS, and 1X MCO (to connect to SJU/BOG/PSE/BQN) would be good. Maybe 2X IAD, all E190 of course.

I think you meant forget one more route will be there. I think it will gets 1x daily to FLL. It could work out done very well first inauguration from CVG. Because it very expensive price due to competition with DL.

I was really disappointed to see JetBlue pull out of CMH - they were my alternate to United and AA, and I would have just (last night) booked a roundtrip for five from CMH to SJU on JetBlue for a family vacation! But no, DL gets the fare from CLE instead...

I think CVG would be the better fit, because of the fortress hub. DAY seems to have some pretty competitive fares, sometimes lower than CMH as well.

I would assume not for a long time. CLE already has SWA and 2 full concourses of CO, with flights to a ton of places, both of which are very competitively priced. CO seems to always match SWAs fares, and both seem to be very cheap.

They just pulled out in Jan of this year. But, I assume a lot of their lack of success has to do with their routings CMH-JFK-West Coast or CMH-JFK-Florida

DL flies nonstop to a couple florida destinations, or stops in CVG/ATL, without completely backtracking to NYC with a 4hour layover. Add in US to CLT, NWA to MEM, CO to CLE...and of course SWA with all of their crazy routings and nonstops. It seemed to only be a good option for those on a budget...and even then, they didn't seem to be the cheapest in town.

WN doesn't serve BOS or NYC, so I'm not sure how that would affect B6.

FL on the other hand does fly CAK-LGA and CAK-BOS, which is probably the real reason B6 hasn't entered the CLE market.

What CLE really needs is some competition to SoCal.
