Qantas Frequent Flyer - Changes we would REALLY like to the new programme.

I am sure that version 2 of the QF FF program is being thought about within Qantas.

Version 1 has been pulled apart and its entrails analysed on this site.

Perhaps we could suggest a few changes that Darren and his team could think about.

e.g
1. Bonus points multipliers should be automatic on OneWorld flights where there is no option to QF. For instance , I am flying to Beijing and thence to Boston. It makes economic sense to use a OW ticket from HK on CX, however with the new system of miles versus KM I am worse off.

2. Allow points to be donated to charity .

3. Leather tag holders for Platinum.

I am sure there are more ideas out there.?

Just on the "leather tag holders" thing - I got UA's version of this earlier this year, and they were too bloody big! I ended up giving them to a no-status friend. I like the personalised statusy bagtags, though.

I'd like to see one-way tickets re-instated. As long as a trip is within the mileage limits for the award, it's beyond me why they care whether it's one-way or return.
