NEW YORK, Feb. 6, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) reported today that its traffic in January increased 7.2 percent from January 2007, on a capacity increase of 8.0 percent.
Load factor for January 2008 was 75.6 percent, a decrease of 0.5 points from January 2007. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 98.7 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 76.7 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of January increased ten percent year over year.
