I came across an attractive 84K THB fare BKK-AUH-JFK (One way) So thinking of giving Ethiad a try as I am boycotting EK! Any idea how it is service, comfort, ground in AUH etc?

Some friends of mine took Ethiad SYD-LHR recently in J and were VERY impressed with service and value.

I came across an attractive 84K THB fare BKK-AUH-JFK (One way) So thinking of giving Ethiad a try as I am boycotting EK! Any idea how it is service, comfort, ground in AUH etc?
I fly EY all the time now as their Middle East connections are much better than my namesake and preferred carrier SQ. EY's food is not super but the seats and service are excellent in J. Also the free car service is unbeatable. It makes EK's car service seem totally inconvenient.
I used to fly EK quite often but have now totally switched to EY even though their schedule is not as fully built as EK.
