Anyone heard of a room rate called "Go for the Gold". Is this a promo to make gold tier status or just a different rate code? I found this when pricing out a room in Colorado Springs for a Feb 11-12 stay.

Did you do a search BEFORE posting this?

My question isn't to be mean and you regulars know I'm the first to post (include) a link, but this time I didn't, to make a point.

the topic has been discussed and 9 times out of 10 here on FT, if you have a question on something its most likely already been discussed.

YES, thank you. A search was the first thing I did. No results returned.

Really? :confused: I know I posted links to this very topic once, if not twice in the past week.

Hi,

Thanks Cheap Elite for answering the question ( more than once).^

Here is the link ;

Admittedly search seems to be a bit slow and the go for gold is already on Page 2 of the search results. ( it took me a while initially to get familar with the intricacies of search ( ie on three letters etc, poor for airport codes)

Regards

It's frustrating - I usually tend to just give up after a while. Not sure why certain people get miffed about something like this. Who does it hurt?

Does this mean 90% of the threads of FT are redundant?
