Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here. I am doing lots of research on unusual cheap air fare from Detroit to Miami. Approximately Feb 26th to March 1st. I would also prefer round trip.
If anyone knows of any awesome deals out there can you guys share with me.
I so far found only $89 each way which I thought was a good deal. Then I saw in all the other sites they are all the same $89 every where else give or take. Which does not seem like a good deal any where else.

Anyways, anyone who knows any scoop on Detroit/Miami please let me know

:)

Seems like a pretty good deal to me, especially for spring break. I'd book it.

Doubt you'll get much cheaper than that, expecially during Spring Break.

Grab that flight NOW! Anything under $100 OW is good from where you are starting.

Hey guys

Thanks for the scoop. I thought $89 seemed good to me, but I heared all over the place these $9 fares and all that so I got a bit greedy and wanted it cheaper lol
yes, it is spring break so I thought they will be extremely more expensive.

another thing is, since a ot of them offer $89 which air lines are better to fly with?
thanks again

Try Spirit Air for their $9 fare deals.

$89 each way for spring break sounds reasonable. One thing you can try is searching from nearby airports, e.g., Flint, Toledo, and the like.

Years ago, my bf wanted to fly DTW-MIA, and the NW fare we found from DTW was about $350. Searching from TOL yielded a $159 fare, with the exact same DTW-MIA segment. @:-)

This was years before I discovered FT, so you'll have to forgive the cluelessness. :)

how do you know?

Location: InterCONTINENTAL Airport Houston, where I'm a Hub Captive :(

So I'm all too familiar with the Hub Penalty ... er, "non-stop premium" (according to CO)

Unless of course I happen to want to make a Mileage Run and make a connecting flight from Houston somewhere instead of the nonstop to get a few extra miles, then it prices out higher
