Hilton HHonors - Does HH Amex Platinum card allow access to airport lounges?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but does my HH Amex Platinum card allow me access to the various airport lounges (NW, CO, DL, etc.)? I know there is/are Amex Platinum card/s that that allow such access but I was just curious if my new shiny piece of plastic provides the same benefit.

No, it's The Platinum Card that gets you such access, not just any Platinum Card.

However, there are rumors that Amex is going to upgrade the card and add among other things the lounge access. More than likely this will come with the annual fee attached :td:.

I saw at in at least one more thread and I think I saw it somewhere else but can't remember where now. If I run into it again I'll post the link. It is nothing remotely certain but obviously they are thinking about it.
