Was trying to buy my BOS-MNL-TPE-BOS ticket when I came across this. Buy a first/business fare SFO-HKG Cathay Pacific RT from American Express travel services (D fare), get 25,000 bonus AA miles and a free companion ticket! The ticket is ~$4700 when I checked 1/19. Alas, still can't afford it even if divided by 2. :-(
