Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Using Citibank (HK) card on non-HK CX.com

Can somebody please confirm whether bonus miles are awarded if a ticket is bought on the non-HK version of CX.com?

The situation is that I will be using a HK issued Citibank-CX Plat Preferred Select (or whatever it is called!) to buy a ticket on the UK version of CX.com.

Ticket price is GBP1,000. Let's assume 1 pound = 16 HK Dollars, hence ticket price = HK$16,000

Will I get double asiamiles (2,000 base miles + 2,000 for overseas spending) and another 2,000 because it is bought on CX.com?

if I remember right, I did get this bonus when buying a TPE-HKG-TPE ticket denominated in NTD. I'm not sure though if I used the "Taiwan version" of CX.com, or just the "HK / international version" and picked TPE as the origin as the ticket...

If so, you'll get the base miles from CX + 2000 from citibank PLUS 4000 for overseas spending because CX Plat Select Preferred $4=1 mile. ;)

I am not sure about the UK, for for US departures, the prices displayed on the US version and the default (In't) version is the same, and I would assume it would be the same for UK. and Yes, you get base+oversea bonus+cx.com bonus
