My husband is renting a car this weekend from Alamo and I want to have the skymiles credited to my Delta Skymiles account (for the current promotion that is going on). Will this be a problem since the name on the rental and the name on the skymiles account will not match? Our last names are the same. I am hoping this will just slip thru without a problem. He already has his alamo miles for the delta promotion going on and this would be a great way for me to get the miles I need. Another question about Alamo--I called them because I was missing some miles from a rental from 2007. I was told that I didn't receive the miles because I used a coupon from the entertainment book and they will not credit skymiles if you use an entertainment coupon. I have never seen that written anywhere. Has anyone here ever heard of that? I even called back later in the day and someone else at Alamo told me the same thing.
