Hilton HHonors - New HHonors Amex Survey

I just completed an online survey looking to revamp the Hilton Amex card. I was presented with many different options from no fee to $94 fee for a variety of benefits. New options that they're considering are Diamond status with $40,000 or $50,000 in spending, getting lounge access at airports and increased point accural for up to 10 points per dollar. It'll be interesting to see if they will have a new card out in the next year.

Got the survey too; my annual fees ranged from $25 to $125/year. It included things like a 10% reduction in award redemption costs or receiving points back for redeeming an award. Sounds good to me!

What's there to revamp? It's hand's down the best credit card on the planet...AS IS.
Perfection should not be toyed with.
I'd happily pay a fee for Diamond based on spend.
I already pay a fee for my Amex Plat, so don't need the Amex lounge access, but obviously I'm willing to pay a fee for it.
Would love even more point accrual.

As long as you can specify that you want nothing to change as well, I am all for giving people other options.
I think adding an annual fee to this card would make it just like the rest of the hotel cards out there. All of us love this card because there is no annual fee, you get a good bang for the buck as far as points go and you can be a Gold after spending 20K. They shouldn't change this card. It's great the way it is.

Annual fees are barely a factor in my decision of which cards to keep and use, and I say that as someone who has several cards with annual fees (AMEX Plat, SPG AMEX, Diners Club, Citi PPE, and Citi Plat AMEX), it would take a triple digit annual fee for me to even blink on the HHonors AMEX.

It would be nice to get Diamond with $50k in spend, but might hurt Hilton. I'd probably stop staying at HH properties as much, use my stays to hit top tier in another program (SPG) and just use the $50k to keep Diamond on HH. This however would add more Diamonds to the mix and could diminish the value of diamond (if there is any left).
I would like to see the airport lounge option though, even if it meant an annual fee. I don't stay loyal enough to any particular airline to make it worth joining their club, and would probably only use the club 2-3x per year anyway.

In all honesty, although I'm no big spender, a $94 annual fee is nothing. You're talking $8/month. And for the people that are hitting the $20K, this shouldn't even make you blink, especially if there's added benefits.

For whom? People who want gold status without having to stay at hotels! This is the only card that does nothing for those who already have status. Delta Amex, Marriott Visa, etc. give "elite benefits" not just gold to non-guests.

Can anyone help me locate some information about the Hilton and American Express program called Amex@work. Thanks

Not entirely true. The SPG Amex doesn't give much to Platinums.
(Remind me why these are my two primary cards?)

I like the airline club as a back up. If the price was fair, less then $100, I would do it. Especialy if I received 10 pts per dollar. I am mostly useing my SPG at the moment, since it is better for the airline miles.

I can't imagine they can offer airport lounge access equivalent to what the Platinum Charge Card gets for anywhere near $125, I would bet maybe it would be a pay-as-you-go Priority Pass membership.
