So I'm guessing that everybody who lives in or visits L.V. has seen the "Need a lawyer? You need the 'Heavy Hitter': Glen Lerner." commercials on TV with the cheesy theme music and Glen Lerner doing his worst Sam Spade imitation with the raincoat and fedora? Always cracks us up.

Anyway, last week, the Heavy Hitter decided to miss the first day of his clients murder trial to stay on vacation in Pennsylvania; and the Court was NOT amused!

He advertises heavily in Phoenix too. I'm not sure if he just farms the work out, or has an office there. When I was in San Diego, I saw the same commercial for another Phx law firm showing there, with just different names. It's a racket, I tell ya!

yes, he's still advertising, but I believe the article said he was on "sabbatical" in PA....not sure how he is able to take on new clients in such a situation.

I liked that he took the case in the first place because the defendant is his pool man...

He is not the only one. Every other commercials from the LV local channels are from ambulance chasers.
