Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns (Pre-Alignment) - Mileage Earning Relationships

I see on the website that Airtran can earn miles in the Frontier program. I have never flown Frontier, but am considering it for a flight this spring. Can Frontier flights earn miles in other programs? I really don't need a couple thousand orphan miles!

Their only alliance is with AirTran.

You can use points.com to transfer a minimum of 1000 points out of Frontier at a crappy ratio into the few programs that are available. My test to AA shows 1000 F9 = 219 AA points. That is roughly 20% which is pretty bad.
