Plan is to take one-way business class ticket from BKK to Europe in the beginning of March. There are 2 cheapest options - LTU (www.ltu.de) business class vs SriLankan Airlines. both around 900 EUR.

Has anyone flown LTU business class and how is it like compared to full-service airlines?

LTU business class is nothing special, I'd say, roughly comparable to some US carriers' business class, old AF business class, or some intra-Asian configurations. Good legroom, reclining seats, and a monitor, but no AVOD or lie-flat seats. The UL seats are comparable; recline is probably a bit better, and I would generally pick them because of better service and the tea selection.

Also, keep in mind that there are some great deals for Germany-Sri Lanka on RJ (Royal Jordanian). MUC-CMB can be had for $950 all-in, including a free stopover in AMM.

thanks. I thought about RJ, but as much as I've read, planes are old, AMM-Europe leg is A320 and service is bad.
