Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Where to check on-time statistics for CX509 ex-NRT?

Is flightstats.com a good source to check on-time statistics for specific flights?
I'd like to check this for CX509 NRT-HKG, and according to flightstats.com, its on-time rate is 96% (based on 60 flights), which sounds good to me. Is it true that CX509, due to its departure time of 9:15am, normally sits overnight at NRT, so there's a lower chance of delays due to late arrival of inbound equipment? (I called CX but the agent couldn't answer this question for me.)

Yes, usually, CX509 is 777-300, and same aircraft of CX500 of previous day.
Probably, same crew of the CX500 on board.
I have flawn CX509 12-14 times a year, and it has very good ontime performance.

Thanks for the feedback, which is encouraging. I'll go for CX509.

Expertflyer rates it at 95% ontime, with the average delay being 22 minutes. This is based on the last 2 months.

I compared this to flightstats.com, which rates this flight 96% ontime (based on 62 flights), with an average delay of 9 minutes (based on 10 observations). Not sure if I'm interpreting the results correctly, but it's interesting to see the 2 sites with similar ontime rate but different average delay time. Could be due to the number and/or timing of observations?
In general, which are the most trustworthy sites? Or do people just consult one or two sources and make their own judgement?

I think flightstats.com is more reliable. Based on HKG-LHR on CX, EF rarely shows the days of operation accurately IME, let alone the frequency reliability.

We get our ontime data straight from Flightstats under a contract we have with them. I can't explain the slight differences other than the time frame of the data used to calculate the results. There may be a one day difference in the time frame.
