Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Buying Tickets from Garuda (or other airlines that don't ticket in the US)

I'm trying to purchase oneway tickets from Java (JOG) to Bali (DPS) and am able to search times and fare prices from Garuda-Indonesia. I can't, however, actually purchase the tickets online.

Kayak, expedia, etc., dont show tickets and the Platinum travel desk (can see the fares/availability but) can't book the tickets either.

I gather from the website that I can call internationally to reserve seats and then wire money through certain banks but...

Can someone tell me if there is an easier way to buy these tickets in NY?

Try zuji.com, they are an asia-based online travel website and I was able to pull up your itinerary. I don't know if you'll be able to book from the US, but I think Zuji even handles sales by telephone in a pinch.

The prices you'll find on www.zuji.com.sg aren't too bad for domestic Garuda flights (better than on the other zuji sites). Otherwise if you call Garuda in Indonesia you can also pay by credit card using a computerised phone system after the reservation is made (and they're fine with English too).
