You can use the regular lounge in PHL....I've used the B-C lounge after international flights, before connecting to domestic legs, and I'm not a club member.

Same thing for me. The Envoy Lounge is only a departures lounge.

The answer is No it is a departure lounge only. I had this happen to me this summer arrived in Envoy from Italy and was told I can only use the regular club which I belong to anyways. Called CP they said I can use it, mean lady at the club said NO guess she was right...

The envoy club in PHL has a couple of surly non customer oriented employees that are a discredit to all US air employees. I have had numerous issues with them over last couple of years and have had no problems with other employees and love CP desk. It is hard to know what policy is because those folks just love to say NO with and attitude.:td:

Can you use the CLT club on the return trip if you are booked in Envoy?

Is the Envoy lounge in PHL a *G lounge? If so, then if you're *G, can you get access to the Envoy lounge when returning from Europe?

HI! Welcome back to all! NO! The Envoy Lounge in PHL is departure only. It is NOT a *Gold lounge...but the signage has never been changed! It says US Airways Club on the ground floor by the elevator and even on the plaque outside the door upstairs...but it is not a CLUB lounge at all....very misleading and disappointing.

As for Charlotte---yes, you have club access as an Envoy return AND as a *Gold.

Also--don't forget---if you are a returnin Confirmed Envoy passenger, you get free drink coupons at the checkin desk at Charlotte club and at PHL club at the B/C concourse!

Safe travels to everyone!

I am going to by flying to DUB next month. I am going to try for GoEnvoy but it looks doubtful. I am *G with both UA and US and have a pass for the US Airways Club. Am I correct with the following statements.:

1. Can't use the pass in the Envoy Lounge

2. Can't use either of my *G status to access the Envoy Lounge

3. Everyone who is waiting in the Envoy Lounge is a Envoy Class passenger

I ask because the last international trip I took on US I was in coach and I checked in at the desk and I asked what they wanted to see and when I showed them my *G card from UA, they said that this what they needed to see. Was I just lucky?

Just to follow up... The Envoy lounge is a Star Gold lounge. All they wanted to see was my international boarding pass, which said Star Gold on it. There was a sign on the check-in counter stating that the lounge was for departures only. For arrivals, they want you to use the B/C lounge.

Nice lounge, by the way. The staff there were friendly and courteous. Didn't see any critters.

Don't know for sure, but don't think you can use a pass for a regular US lounge in the Envoy lounge.

2. Can't use either of my *G status to access the Envoy Lounge No, an international departure from PHL AND *G gets you access to the Envoy lounge

3. Everyone who is waiting in the Envoy Lounge is a Envoy Class passenger No...see #2 above.

Yes.

In RE: PHL, I always thought you could use the "club" half of the "Envoy Lounge." on arrival. What that means is that you will be stuffed at the end of things without the free food and booze--unless I"m missing the point. I will admit to have never tried this--I typically just head on over to B/C and hit that club, since I don't want to trek all the way over/back from the A-West club for my connecting flight.

What that means is that you will be stuffed at the end of things without the free food and booze -snip-(no sarcasm intended...) Except how would they know which end you stayed on? There is a full service bar to the right (as your walk in) and self serve beer, wine and food to the left.
