Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - How to become a travel ticket agency? Please advise

I'm interested to be in travel business. How should I start? I try to search from google but there's too much information. Can any one help with the advise? Do I need to actually go to school for it? Which program to used? I've install KVS tool recommended by someone from this website. However, I'm still blind. Please advise.
