Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - CX548 and CX549 - CX or KA aircraft?

My recollection is that CX548 and CX549 between HKG and NRT were operated by KA before it joined OW. Does anyone know if KA aircrafts are still used on both of these flights? Are the flights staffed by CX or KA crew? Which version of the inflight entertainment is used (CX or KA)?

KA withdrew from NRT. So if there were a flight as such, CX would be operating (on CX metal).

Regional aircraft are used, sometimes there has been the new 773 and also once in a while 74A with new J and F (and Y), but usually just regular 777 and A330 with standard IFE.

You are talking about CX6807/KA361(NRT-HKG),CX6806/KA360(HKG-NRT) code share flights of NRT-HKG which had almost same arrival/depature schedule with CX548/549.

Thank you for reading my mind. I am indeed referring to these code share flights, CX548 leaving HKG around 0925 and CX549 leaving NRT around 1520. These flights used to be CX???/KA???, now they are only referred to as CX548 and 549 on CX's website. KA's website doesn't even list Tokyo as a destination. So I'm not sure if they are code share anymore.

Done it many times. Most recent a month or two back. Definitely CX metal. Usually an A330. Think I have also done it on a regional 777. Some dates may have new configs but you'll have to check due to 773 (long-haul) delivery schedule. If you want 773 best bet is CX500 but not guaranteed because I don't know what day you're flying, and even then you won't know because CX can change whenever they like. It's just a regular regular regional flight. Longer on the way back to HKG due to winds. IFE not working (not exactly abnormal for CX nowadays) on the NRT-HKG leg so I collected more of those ridiculous vouchers. Anything else?

I flew CX504/505 a couple of times the past fall and it was always operated by a 744 (once the 74A). I think that it will remain that way. Depending on the day, it seems that CX548/549 is using a variety of aircrafts: 333 (with F), 343 (without F), etc...
