iDine/Rewards Network - "You haven't earned any rewards this year." ?? "Total Rewards: 0 miles" ??

I had 4 dines last week. All four have posted on my skymiles.rewardsnetwork.com account. The miles posted two days ago to my SkyMiles account. Yet when I log into my account at RN, it tells me just above the listing of my 4 dines "You haven't earned any rewards this year." Then just below the listing of my 4 dines it reads "Total Rewards: 0 miles".

What gives? Sorry if this is "iDine remedial stuff" but I am looking to reach VIP real soon so I can take reap the rewards of this offer (http://skymiles.rewardsnetwork.com/promo.jsp?id=14900004). Will the system update monthly or bi-weekly? Seems strange that I have the miles but they claim they gave me no rewards. :confused:

I rated each one and even rated the ones I had already rated. Hope you are right. I am not extremely worried because the promo lasts a while and I will contact RN about this if it doesn't "fix itself". You have, however, confirmed that this is strange and not SOP. Thanks.

My RN account now reflects the total rewards correctly.^ I was really thrown by this because it is more often the case that the source partner in this game we play reflects the perk while the destination partner account seems to lag. All is well. Thanks for the replies.

"This year" miles are only counted after they show a "paid" date. They do not add to the count while they're still "pending".

Meanwhile, "program to date" miles are counted sometimes even before they show up at all! (Monitoring this count carefully can foreshadow a posting that's going to show up a day later!)

So neither of the counts is actually the total of what is showing! For that you need a calculator. (And in particular, you need a calculator or spreadsheet to add up dines for a particular calendar month or range of months, which is important for some promotions, including AA's ongoing 500 bonus miles for AA elites with $150/month minimum total spend on dines that earn.)
