Newsstand - Group targets flying pervs

A group that fights child exploitation is calling for the National Sex Offender Registry to be merged with travel databases to track and curb predators travelling abroad for sex with children.
The group, OneChild, wants the names of convicted offenders to be placed on travel watch lists or manifests so they can be flagged if they're sold airline tickets to countries plagued by child-sex tourism.

Quite an interesting approach, not sure if it helps. So let's call Thailand the destination of their desire. So these guys try to get on a plane to BKK, thes will be denied ^

What happens if they have to seperate tickets? JFK - FRA (nobody will assume FRA to be a destination of their desire) From there, they get on a flight to BKK, nobody will stop them as probably the European Union has a different file for those guys :confused:

MisterNiceagreed and agreed. can you imagine dhs trying to do this? they can't even keep an accurate no fly list by itself let alone combine it with anything else.
