“People who sit in the pointy end of the plane are the ones who are driving the margin,” said Henry Harteveldt, principal travel analyst with Forrester Research, a consulting firm based in Cambridge, Mass.A bit off topic, but why does everyone call the front of an aircraft the "pointy end?" As anyone who's ever looked at one can attest, the front is rounded. It's the back that's pointy - and has been ever since they started streamlining them before World War I.

Now if the domestic cheapskates (looking at you, AA, UA and US) would just get with the program and offer free booze like the rest of the domestic lounges...

That makes me so mad that they do not offer free booze. I guess there are worst things in life :rolleyes:

Maybe they are referring to where the aircraft Pitot Tubes are located. Anyway love the nice free booze in (most) airline lounges I enter.
