Good morning,

just a quick question if there is a pay per use lounge in the BKK airport?

Thanks,
Sinecure

I was hoping for one that I don't need to join a club for.

That's great and almost what I want, but I refuse to pay $100 CND for a few drinks and internet. I was hoping there was something along the lines of the lounge in Vancouver for $30 CND

cheers,

You may want to check into Northwest's 60-day temporary WorldClubs pass. It costs $85 USD, but gets you access to the 3rd floor Concourse G CIP Lounge. It isn't worth it for a one-shot deal, but if you are doing enough traveling within a 60-day period it may be worthwhile.
All lounge locations worldwide are here (https://www.nwa.com/services/bustrav/worldclubs/wcasia.html)

Hefty price for sure , but once at the airport it might be worth a try just to walk up and ask what they charge for entrance. I have no idea, but it might be a more reasonable fee.

Yes. At the old BKK lounge, Dong Muang, I inquired a couple years ago at the CIP lounge about the pay per use price and I think I remember they told me 600B per use. So, at the new airport, just approach CIP and ask how much for usage now. I have a feeling it may be slightly higher now.

Depending on how long you are there, you may just want to use the on airport Novotel. They have pretty reasonable day rates.

Do you have to fly on NWA in order to use those lounges?

Thanks.

I don't think the rules require it, but you may want to read over this thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=615371) in the NW forum. General consensus seems to be that MOST of the lounges don't require a boarding pass, but a few occasionally do. I'm fairly certain that you wouldn't have any problems with BKK's CIP lounge.

You can buy a single entry into the CIP lounge. I asked about it before and forget the exact price but it was something like $20 or $30. No need to buy any membership in any program if it's a one-shot deal. There are at least two of these lounges. One is on the C concourse and another on the G concourse.

Confirm the Louise Tavern CIP First Class lounge can pay per visit, still B600 when I last checked. I slightly prefer the one on G concourse to the one on C concourse, mainly because the fridge with the white wine is not self service in C.

I just checked today and the price is now 1,000 baht.
