I was waiting for the airport shuttle to the off-site Enterprise (about 5 mins away, all other rentals were on airport property) and it took 3 calls and about 40 minutes for the pickup. The employees more than made up for the delay with a nice upgrade, discount, free gas-they were very friendly, saying the driver was waiting on a customer who was arguing something with them.
In any event, if I had taken a cab, after say the 2nd phone call or 20 mins or so (promised it would be 5 mins or less, they even asked if I had already picked up my bags) I assume I could ask them for reimbursment, and could I also ask for something (at least some degree of) similar to the compensation they gave me?
PS-I assume the cab couldn't have been more than $7-8 with tip, but why should I pay for it?
