Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - 34C or 744 in F?

going to hgk on an award ticket, having to go from cali to vancouver to get ther there, but none the less, which is a better first class plane. i think the seats are the same??

Go for the 744 whenever possible. But getting award seats in F using AA miles is difficult so you may have to settle with whatever you can get.

The latest version of F suites would be available on either 74A or 77W.

Undoubtely,it is a must to try the new one if you have a chance to do so. However I think it is difficult to redeem a First Class reward by using AA miles.

so the F seat is different? k well how do we now what 77 is the one with the new seats? or i guess what im asking is how do i know if its an A or W?

Don't be confused. 77A and 77W are actually the same thing. All 5 777-300ER that Cathay has received (and many more to come) are with new F, and they're recently doing HKG-JFK mainly and some random shorthaul flights. From Feb it will operate CX826/827 HKG-YYZ as well.

744 is definitely the one to go for and you might have chances to be in the new F, whereas 34C are def. with the old F.
