One of the perks of the harrahs reward program is that you can redeem 50,000 rc's for $250 cash or a free economy airline seat to one of their casinos in the us.
I just got a mailing that on 1/12/08 at bally's atlantic city you will get 1:1 cash (minimum $5, max $3000)--a better deal than the standard offer.
This may be a targeted offer and valid only for those who receive the mailing--but if you don't get a mailing (or check your account on line) you wouldn't know to ask.;)
PS: Caesars ac has done this before (but at the regular 2:1 rate); the postcard says "first time at bally's.")

$1 coin in = 1 rc point? Its a shame NK discontinued their LAS-ACY flight; I might have made a quick run over to play/pay for my flight home ;)

$1 coin in = 1 rc point?

Bonus RCs varies by game played, length of time and other unknown factors.

The most RCs I've gotten of recent were "6" for every Tier/Base Point. (Quite often, it is much lower than that)

Now, Tier/Base points do have a static earning rate (for machines) which is 1 per $5 coin-in at slots or 1 per $10 coin-in at VP. So, to make DIAD (Diamond in a Day) you need 3,000 Tier/Base or $30,000 Coin-In at VP.

So, basically, $1 coin in will NOT necessarily yield 1 RC point. But, as stated by the OP :

50,000 RCs = $500 Comp at HET
and usually a $250 Comp at non-HET establishments (such as the Apple Store at the Pier @ Caesars or a non-casino restaurant) --- this is a very good deal, since you can redeem your RCs for cash without giving up their value.
