Las Vegas - Harrahs Status - When does it expire?

So in 2007 I focused most of my gambling on Harrahs (mostly Caesars Indiana, with a couple of Vegas trips thrown in for good measure). I made Diamond pretty quickly (arguably not that hard to do) and ended the year with about 40K in tier credits. I noticed that my cards all dated 03/2008. I also noticed that my Tier Credits have been reset to zero with the new year.

My question: Does it work like the airlines and I'm really Diamond thru 03/2009 (since I qualified in 2007), or do I have from now thru March to re-Diamond?

I'll still be going to Caesars Indiana (soon to be the Horseshoe), and already have a Vegas trip coming up so I'm not worried. I also have the TR Visa to protect my RC's. I'm just curious... Thanks...

Yes, as long as you qualified with 10,000+ Tier (Base) in 2007. You can probably pick up a new [exp 03/2009] card some time this month.

Sometimes DIAD (Diamond in a Day) folks who qualify before June, ONLY have status until the following March --- but, I can't remember those details (for certain).

In your case, skofarrel you will be cool until 03/2009.

Really - so I could get my host to renew it? I couldn't get out to vegas at all last year and I am not sure I can make it it one 4 day trip next week.

I'm not sure whether your host can do this. I would play for a while on your downgraded Gold card and, during your (suitably large) play, casually mention to the pit critter that you had a Diamond card, but damn if it didn't expire...
