Hi. I'm trying to book a flight from LAX-HKG. I know what 74A is but what is 74J. Also what are the different economy classes? Thanks. Hope this isnt too noob of a question, haha.

The '74J' is the designator which is given to B744 that are in the premium configuration. The only difference is the '74J' is fitted with 18 more J seats and 56 less Y seats compared to the regular '744'.
When you mention 'different economy class', I assume you are actually referring to the booking class code. The highest (and most expensive) being Y, then B, H, K, M, L, V, S, N, Q and the lowest (and least expensive) being O.
