I have been a little more than surprised lately with UA's service. I am a 1P (about to lose it). My Chicago-based employer had to go to a contract with AA after UA dropped us unexpectedly (before Ch.11).
In january I had to go to Brazil for a personal matter (flew ATL-GRU via IAD). Not only did they have BC seats on awards for almost last minute, but I got upgraded to FC on the way back (GRU-IAD) on an award ticket. WOW!!!! That would have NEVER happened on AA. Thanks for the Dom Perignon UA. I hope they come out of Ch. 11 and get back on the ball.
